- Hi Jo, Thank you for getting in touch. Carbon Star Oil is an overnight treatment oil that is designed to be used alone. You may prefer our Salicylic Acid Booster, apply to affected areas and you can add it to Moisturiser if needed. It can be used morning and evening. Just remember to wear SPF as it can make you more sensitive to sunlight.
